Before starting to create your token, you need to decide the token's custom properties: Name, symbol, decimals, total supply and descriptions Name and Symbol Name selection is a big part of the tokens branding strategy. Its recommended to use as unique and relevant names as possible for the project. It should be a name that is easy to remember and relevant to the audiences. Description The description is the narrative or the idea behind your token. Write something simple and easy to understand, but also unique.
Decimals The decimal number of the Solana Token can ranges from 0 to 9. For whitelisting purposes, use the decimal number of 0. Meanwhile for utility tokens, you can use the number from 6 to 9. Most common decimals is 6. Total Supply Supply is linked to the tokenomics of your project, the price of the token and marketcap. Choose the maximum supply that suits the concept of the project. i.e very low supply with high price, or very high supply with low price. Logo Image Create unique logo image with the picture and color selections that distinguish your project from the rest of the tokens. Use PNG format with the size of 1000x1000 pixels. Next steps after creating your token The tool will configure the wallet you are using to create or deploy as an "Authority wallet". This mean the wallet will have full control of the token contract you created.
